Royal City Bees offers a 21-hour basic beekeeping course to organizations that cater to folks interested in beekeeping. Past clients include Honeybee Centre and the City of New Westminster Parks Department.

Nest Removals
From April to October, Royal City Bees offers nest removal services to residents of New Westminster. Rates are super reasonable,
- Remove a honeybee swarm
- April to June – Free
- July to October – $100 + GST
- Remove wasp nest or bumblebee nest
- Ground Level – $100 + GST
- Ladder Required – $130 + GST
- Remove established honeybee nest in a structure using a special vacuum that does not hurt the bees
Consulting
Royal City Bees offers consulting services to beekeeping operations of 100 colonies or more covering bee management, honey and wax processing, value-added products, and financing. The company specializes in writing business plans for startup or growing beekeeping operations.
The company also provides advice to property owners on how to incorporate beekeeping in their operations to qualify for BC Assessment farm status.
